PME start-up capital deadline: April 17, 2008

Applications Instructions & Eligibility Requirements

In order to qualify for the PME fund, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

  1. The applicant must be a member of the Jewish community, aged between 18 and 40, and residing in the Greater Montreal Area.
  2. The start-up business must be based in the Greater Montreal Area and in operation for less than two years.
  3. The applicant must be a registered member of ProMontreal Entrepreneurs.
  4. The applicant must have two letters of reference.
  5. The applicant must complete the three required forms: a PME Fund application for, a business plan, and three-year cash flows, income statements and balance sheets.
  6. The applicant must be willing to supply any additional information upon request.
  7. The applicant may have to personally present and explain his or her business plan to the Committee of the PME Fund.
  8. The applicant must respect the deadlines for submission in order to be eligible.
  9. The applicant must include a detailed list of the required funds and their uses in the business plan.
  10. The applicant must provide the Committee of the PME Fund a recent credit bureau report upon Fund approval.
